There isn't very much to hunting at the moment; you take a bow/tool and go smack an animal.
So I had a few ideas to toss at the wall here, and I suppose we can see what sticks!
  1. Advancements in hunting tech: Bows are nice, but a society that is in its industrial era is still hunting with bows? I was thinking something like a musket could solve this! Higher range, higher damage, more expensive, and has a long reload.
  2. Tracking: Animals now temporarily leave behind small signs of their presence, such as footprints left every so often that eventually wash away.
  3. Bait: Leaving out foods like raw vegetables/meat can attract animals.
