Option to disable hammer animation / delay
closed

When you remove a block with the hammer, it instantly disappears, but you still need to wait for the hammer animation to finish before you can remove the next block. I find it hard to get into a flow because of this.
For example in Minecraft in comparison, you very clearly see the block being removed. This even gives you a chance to cancel the removal by releasing the mouse button. I understand that the Eco way is very different here which is ok - but it makes the delay quite frustrating because it's hard to know when you can remove the next block and might be hovering over the wrong block at that moment.
Especially in singleplayer, it would be nice if you could just remove all delays associated with the hammer so you could build more easily.

We're not going to add options to disable any client controlled mechanics like animations or delays. The behaviour mentioned here would be a bug, but it is not reproducible. Please feel free to open an issue on our bug tracker with reproducible steps instead: https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/issues

I'm not able to reproduce this, I can immediately continue removing blocks, cancelling the animation?

Dennis Scholz: This is strange. Is this a bug then?
If I hold down the left mouse button, I remove maybe 2 (?) blocks per second
If instead I click as fast as possible, I remove blocks at about the same speed
I did many clicks in between the actual block removals in the second video.
Can you remove more blocks per second by clicking fast?
(there is no way to upload videos here, right? Is there a preferred way to share videos here?)
(low quality so I can record smoothly)
