When picking up and placing down a vehicle in the game world all of the authorizations on the truck and deed are reset, with the owner being set to whoever places the vehicle down. I assume that this isn't a bug but more of a limitation of how the current deed system works in relation to vehicles.
What I would propose is first for the permissions to be able to persist when the vehicle has been picked up into a player's inventory, which would allow for a three layered tiered permission system for vehicles.
  • The first highest tier would be the owner permission, who can do and change everything.
  • The second tier would be those who have access to the deed. They can pick up the truck into their inventory and place it down again, but cannot change the owner or add other people to the deed. They can also use the truck freely, and add others to use the truck freely in the authorisation tab.
  • The third and lowest tier is authorising someone to only the truck itself, in the authorisation tab. They are only access the vehicle and inventory, but not able to pick it up, and cannot add other people to access it either.
