Vertical claiming

At the moment, building a multi-storage building and renting out apartments directly above each other seperately is impossible. This means that if one would build a skyscraper, all of it would be under the same claim. If a claim would be a 5x5x5 block, stacked housing would be possible and add verticality to cities, which is barely a thing most of the time. Not sure how to describe it better

Hopefully this'll get implemented at some point, playing as a realestate developer is one of my fav occupations in eco, but inability to split vertical claims is a headache

Currently, if you build a "hotel" where the rooms are doubled (or tripled, depending on the amount of tenants), you get a small housing bonus, so 2 tenants with 8 rooms have 20% more bonus than 1 tenant with 4 rooms. For apartments, this seems to work pretty well already.

This would perfectly allow urbanization of larger servers. This would be massive. I’d love to see this. Maybe in some way, after a certain milestone this could be accomplished? T2 building materials? Maybe requires an elevator? Or Water/electricity/sewage? I definitely think it should be a later game thing.

Please do this! It makes little sense that even the densest parts of towns and cities only really permit one user per section of land, it makes it a lot more complicated to build up or mixed use (e.g. apartments above, shops below)

Without changing totally the claim system, would it be possible to fix rules for rooms instead ? Like a tool to create an house object by selecting rooms affected to it, and this house could be rented.
If you have a tenant, you won't be allowed to modify the rooms or declaim the plots, but you could add claims and change deed rules.

yeah i don't want to make the land claim papers a cube, that would cause too many issues, it can stay the same horizontal claim. I just want a tab that gives permissions relative to height.

I want a tab in the owned land section relative to vertical positioning, so you can allocate permissions based on height. EXAMPLE: add permission "Name(s)", "Lower Height" - "Upper Height", "Permission Type (eg renting, own, mining allowed)". REASON: It gets annoying when you build a mining tunnel and someone builds above you unknowingly, there needs to be a way that you can set depth below a point that allows mining and access in this zone, whilst preventing that person from accessing your house on the surface "add permission "all, 0 - 24, mining + placement + pickup" as an example. Secondly if I build an apartment style tower it would be nice to be able to rent out a room vertically with the same formula/tab/feature "add permission "john smith, 36 - 42, renting + placement + pickup" as an example.
